Nice clean calendar, but showstopper bug still not fixed. When adding invitees the app freezes, and blocks you from clicking "Done". No way out. Force-quit. This bug has existed for years...

Where other calendars have the tendency to be crowded Event Calendar goes into a different direction: For me it looks more "Apple-like" then most other calendar apps. I agree that from the features and functions perspective there are many others to be named first (my favorite Week Calendar HD) - but the clean and simple interface really helps to stay focussed. Nevertheless some room for improvement - I would like to easily see in which location / room my next meeting will happen, currently I have to open the appointment and to scroll down before I can see it. But for a first release a good start - but I think theres some more to come.

Not sure whats up with the developers, there hasnt been an update in several months now. Its not bug free either - several exist. The date badge doesnt show on the home screen, and occasionally the month wont show in month view. If they are going to discontinue the app, the least they can do is give all those who bought it Calvetica or something...

I do love this app, dont get me wrong, but like the review above stated, there has been absolutely no updates made to it in the last few months. While there isnt many crucial errors with this app, it would be nice to have a few new features added once in a while...

Great calendar app, exactly what Ive been looking for.

There is know landscape view..since the update...would be nice to have a choice of a few colors other than black and white..

This is the most beautiful calendar app in the store at the moment. Its simple (maybe too simple for some) but for those who value clarity, design, and speed over tones of features, this is the one to beat. Ive had the app forget my colour choices and which calendars to draw from, however.

its by far the best, so far as I am concerned. I have only one quibble: I miss the old icon. it was subtle and classy, it lent an air of dignity to the proceedings. please, oh please bring it back!

Can i have an exchange Tempus to Calvetica? I bought first one just because of minimalistic design, but i cant add any event, app is keeping restarting. I want an exchange please

I would like to have the possibility to view the list of all events, search for events and, very important to me, the possibility to set sms reminders for google calendar. Today is possible to set only pop up reminders.

This has been my favorite calendar app for years. Unfortunately since I updated to iOS 10 it has been crashing the second I open the app. Hoping it gets fixed soon.

Goodbye Tempus, I enjoyed our time together! iOS 10 broke you and your mysterious developers have abandoned you. If you liked Tempus, check out Google calendar app! In schedule view it works a lot like Tempus. The drop down month resembles the Tempus month view. Event input not quite like Tempus though! I have deleted all my Mysterious Trousers apps, you may say I have abandoned them like they abandon their apps.

I highly recommend this app for those who are looking for a great balance of stylish and useful.

Well, since some reviewers are intent on comparing this with Agenda, lets do that… One of the things I really miss in Tempus that I love in Agenda is coming back from the background and waiting 10 seconds for the UI to unfreeze. Another thing, all the correct spacing of fonts and lines in Tempus totally throws me off after Ive been using Agenda for a few weeks. In Tempus, I can blithely wander to any date in time, unlike Agenda, that keeps me safely enclosed with a 2 year radius. I cant tell you how much I hate how incredibly useful and beautiful the landscape week view in Tempus is. Thats it, Im going back to Agenda, where I can view my week of events as a bunch of dots and times that appear as another week when I tap on a day…and then stay around forever to comfort me.

This is how a calendar should work on the iPad AND the iPhone...I am so impressed that if they made a desktop version, Id buy that too. I was a Calvetica user, and I was part of the rebellion when it changed...this app erases all that. It IS the next generation calendar app that we were hoping for. Beautiful, simple and an underlying powerhouse of scheduling if needed. An impressive blend of everything I loved about Calvetica and all the new functionalities the devs wanted to offer. Tempus is a spectacular App and Mysterious Trousers has provided excellent customer service Im delivering it.

Sorry I wasted the money. Feature poor version. Week view starts on the day your at which is confusing and to get to the current day when looking at a full agenda requires going back to the month and clicking on a day. Very few settings to configure this the way you would like. All they needed to do was add the agenda view to their existing applications. Dont get this application. Stick with Calvetica Classic (from Mysterious Trousers) or Week Calendar (from a different manufacturer) which is consistently rated high and is an amazing feature rich program.. Why cant good companies put all the great stuff into one program? I bought this because of the company; wont make that mistake again. Ive never askef for money back from any application - If I could get it Id want it back for this.

Another nice offering from Mysterious Trousers. If like me, you thought Calvetica was getting a little bloated, then this app is for you. Its designed to be simple. Its very nice.

Just downloaded update, though I started using this app Aug 29. Bottom right corner in the 7 day week view shows January 2011, not September! All the events are there but label is wrong. Move a few days forward and then it goes correctly. Its a pretty serious bug and not fixed by the update. Developers write in all their products that they listen. This bug appears in all their calendar apps. Dont buy till they really release a fix. The looks of a program only go so far, this needs to work properly.

At last, with Tempus, Mysterious Trousers reminds us theyve still got the design sensibility that made their original Calvetica app so pleasing. Tempus displays and updates beautifully, and doesnt overwhelm one with more information or choices than necessary ... until you need the details, and then theyre right where they should be. Nicely done.
